This brand new trendy hotel is part of the Star Group and is located very close to the Darling Harbour Area.
It’s a large complex with lots of entertainment things to see and to do.
For example you can go to the Lyric Theatre, Casino or Rock Lily to enjoy live music all inside the hotel complex.
Also nightclub operator Tao Group has brought a monumental change to Sydney’s nightlife landscape with the opening of Marquee – The Star Sydney.
As soon as you arrive at the lobby you will noticed the trendy reception.
A pool table is part of the trendy design of this brand new hotel.
The Darling Hotel has 171 rooms, a swimming pool and a direct access to the Casino.
The Daring Hotel is with-in walking distance of the Darling Harbour area with lots of Bars and Night clubs.
The friendly staff welcomes you at the reception and they keep all your information in a special VIP key.
At the end of your hotel stay you return this VIP key and next time you visit the hotel again, you will receive your own VIP key again.
We stayed in room 776 a normal room on level 7.
Because we requested two single beds, this is the highest level that you can get with two single beds.
All higher levels will have only Kingsize beds and a great view over the Darling Harbour.
When you open the door from your hotel room, you will see the trendy bathroom.
A big mirror is an eye catching item with on the other side the Rain Shower and Toilet.
The room is very colorful and the beds are very comfortable.
The TV got all entertainment functions that you wish including the adjustments of the Lights and Curtains direct from your bed
There was a fresh fruit basket in our room.
The room overlooks the swimming pool area and you don’t hear any noise inside your room from the Casino or Rock Lily.
For breakfast you go to another area with in the complex, Bistro 80.
Bistro 80 is situated on Level 2 from the Astral Tower at The Star.
A trendy restaurant that serves you a great breakfast and if you want the also serve you a great a la carte menu for a reasonable price.
So if you want to stay in a trendy hotel in Sydney you will have to visit The Darling Hotel at the Star.
We sure enjoyed our stay here.
