The Beaumont Hotel London
The Beaumont Hotel London is a new Luxury 5 star hotel, opened in 2014 in the suburb Mayfair.
It is just a 1 minute’s walk away from the Hotel to Oxford Street and the Warehouse Selfridge .
The Beaumont Mayfair Building was built in 1926 as a parking garage for Avis car rentals.
The hotel has 50 rooms, 13 studio’s and 10 suites, and it looks like your are thrown back in time to the 1920’s in Manhattan New York.
If you sit at the bar in the famous Jimmy’s American Bar or the Colony Grill Restaurant, if feels like Al Capone can just walk in and join you.
The front of the Hotel with the Queens Mom’s old Rolls Royce in front of the hotel.
We entered the hotel after a long trip back from Portsmouth.
The first step inside this magnificant hotel was one that you will never forget.
It’s New York and not London, I entered the 1920’s.
Its design is inspired by the great Art Deco hotels of the 1920’s, where the Italian mafia just could enter the hotel.
It’s like you are back in an old movie, only everything is now in colour instead of black and white.
Check in.
The dedicated check in staff members, where waiting for us.
All the administration work was done in a few minutes.
Mr and Mrs Smulders, your suite is ready.
You have a one bedroom classic suite on level 3.
Our bellboy will escort you and the luggage to your suite and explain all the details of the room.
I hope you have a pleasant stay at the Beaumont Hotel.

They price for one night in the Classic Suite is £ 1.575,00, including the great Beaumont breakfast and taxes.
The door from you suite opens and yes also the suites are in the Art Deco 1920’s style.
60 square meters of space, to relax and unwind.
Complimentary softdrinks and snacks, a separate sitting room, 2 large TV’s with lots of movies on demand.
Luxury mosaic marble bathroom with baths, large walk-in showers and underfloor heating.
It feels great if you stand in the bathroom and your feet are warm by the underfloor heating.
If you sit in bath you can also watch TV and they serve you with traditional DR. Harris toiletries.
High Speed Wifi is available all over the hotel and there is also a complimentary hotel limousine service.
But most important the bed was great, it was hard to wake up in the morning, but you have to get up.
A nice welcome basket of fresh Fruit and special Chocolade.
It was time to shop and as Oxford street and Selfridge are juist around the corner, it did not take long that my wife found some great bargains.
Oxford Street and the famous Selfridge warehouse.
The Famous American Bar Jimmy’s and the Colony Grill Restaurant.
Back to the 1920’s, the walls are covered with black and white photo’s from the British and American Celebrities.
Jimmy’s belongs to the great tradition of American Bars that became legendary in London and Paris from the 1920’s.
The kind of place Hemingway or F Scott Fitzgerald would have felt at home.
The lights are low and you don’t know if it is night or day.
You order your first cocktail, stirred not Shaken please.
It was time for a great dinner in the Colony Grill Restaurant.
The Colony Grill Room takes its lead from the traditional Grill Rooms originally found in London and New York.
The Beaumont Breakfast.
The Beaumont Breakfast a choice of tea or coffee, fresh orange juice and two breakfast biscuit scones, whipped butter and preserves.
This time not the traditional English Breakfast for us, just a light breakfast was great for us.
The Beaumont Hotel sets you back in the 1920’s, surrounding you with lots of historical arts projects all over the hotel.
It’s a great Business hotel where you also can stay as a toerist.
You will meet the English Upper Class guest here during a meeting or lunch.
A place you will always remember if you stay here once.
